  • Discovery Call

    We would love to hear about your project! A discovery call is the best way for us to start to get to know one another and to see if Smith House Co. is the right fit to bring your dream to reality.

  • Scope + Budget

    Budget and Scope are two sides of a scale that needs to remain balanced throughout the project. Knowing what is most important to you and how much you want to spend will ensure we set the project up for success from the beginning with no financial surprises or unmet expectations down the road.

  • Design

    The design process is much more than just making pretty spaces. It is where we implement all of the problem solving solutions we identified in the scoping process as well as document all of the building science details. Our goal for each project is to achieve a beautiful, functional, healthy space that will stand the test of time.

  • Bid

    One of the advantages of working with a Design+Build firm is that we have a pretty good handle on expected costs as we are navigating the design process. However, before any construction begins we conduct a thorough bid process where we have each trade and supplier bid to the construction documents and final selections. This eliminates unwanted suprises during construction and expedites the building process by having each trade under contract and locked into the schedule.

  • Build

    The construction process is the culmination of months worth of problem seeking, problem solving, design, preparation and planning. As a Design + Build firm, we have a firm understanding of not only the architectural intent but also any tricky details or orders of operations. This enables us to move with precision and speed when construction begins - without costly delays to iron out details or to reschedule busy trades.

  • Finish
